Return and Refund Policy
At Dr CATS, all orders are carefully checked before packing and dispatch. Please review the product description, colour, size chart and order details carefully before completing your purchase.
Dr CATS follows a No Return and No Refund Policy for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect size selection or personal preference. However, this policy does not remove remedies available for damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied products. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, consumer commissions may direct replacement of defective goods or return of the purchase price where a valid complaint is established. (India Code)
1. No Returns
Products purchased from Dr CATS cannot be returned for reasons including:

Change of mind

Customer no longer wants the product

Incorrect size selected by the customer
-
Incorrect colour or product selected by the customer
-
Customer does not like the colour, fit or style
-
Minor colour differences caused by lighting, photography or screen settings
-
Minor measurement variations arising from cutting and stitching
-
Delivery delays caused by the courier
-
Product purchased during a sale, clearance or special offer
Customers should verify all product and size information before placing an order.
2. No Refunds
Once an order is confirmed, the amount paid will not normally be refunded.
Refunds will not be provided for:

Change of mind
-
Incorrect size selection
-
Incorrect address provided by the customer
-
Refusal to accept the parcel
-
Customer unavailability during delivery
-
Minor colour or appearance variations
-
Products that have been worn, washed, altered or damaged after delivery
-
Custom-sized, stitched, altered or personalised products
-
Sale and clearance products
Shipping, cash-on-delivery and handling charges are non-refundable unless the order problem was caused by Dr CATS.
3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Customers must contact Dr CATS when the delivered product is:

Damaged at the time of delivery
-
Defective
-
Different from the confirmed product
-
Different in size or colour from the confirmed order
-
Missing an item included in the confirmed order
The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
4. Required Proof
To request assistance, customers must provide:

Order number

Customer name
-
Registered mobile number
-
Clear photographs of the product
-
Photograph of the parcel and shipping label
-
An uninterrupted unpacking video
-
A clear description of the issue
The unpacking video should begin before the parcel is opened and clearly show the shipping label, packaging and product.
Requests submitted without sufficient proof may not be approved.
5. Resolution for Approved Claims
After verification, Dr CATS may provide one of the following resolutions:

Replacement with the same product
-
Replacement with the correct size or colour
-
Replacement with another product of equivalent value
-
Store credit
-
Refund, only when an eligible replacement cannot be provided or when required under applicable law
The appropriate resolution will depend on product availability and the nature of the complaint.
6. Product Condition
A product submitted for verification must be:

Unused
-
Unwashed
-
Unaltered
-
Free from stains, odour or signs of wear
-
Returned with original tags
-
Returned with original packaging
-
Accompanied by the relevant order information
Products that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for replacement or refund.
7. Custom-Sized and Personalised Products
Custom-sized, stitched, printed, altered and personalised products cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Customers are responsible for supplying accurate measurements, including:

Chest or bust
-
Shoulder
-
Garment length
-
Sleeve length
-
Waist
-
Hip
-
Shorts or pyjama length
-
Preferred fit
Dr CATS will not be responsible for fitting problems caused by incorrect or incomplete measurements supplied by the customer.
A custom product complaint will be reviewed only when:

The delivered product is damaged or defective
-
The wrong product was supplied
-
The product materially differs from the confirmed measurements
-
The product materially differs from the approved order specifications
8. Incorrect Size Selected by the Customer
Customers must review the applicable size chart before ordering.
Age references and standard size labels are only general guides. Fit can vary depending on the child’s or customer’s body measurements.
Dr CATS does not provide a return or refund when an incorrect size is selected by the customer.
9. Return Shipping
Customers must not return any product without written approval and return instructions from Dr CATS.
When the complaint is approved because a damaged, defective or incorrect product was supplied, return and replacement shipping arrangements will be communicated by our team.
Unauthorised parcels may not be accepted.
10. Inspection
Returned products will be inspected after they reach Dr CATS.
Inspection may take approximately 2–5 working days.
A replacement or other approved resolution will be processed only after the product passes inspection.
11. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be issued to the original payment method.
For cash-on-delivery orders, the customer may be asked to provide a valid bank account or UPI ID.
After initiation, banks and payment providers may require approximately 5–10 working days to credit the amount.
Dr CATS is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways after the refund has been successfully initiated.
12. Refused and Undelivered Orders
Orders refused by the customer or returned because of an incorrect address, customer unavailability or failed delivery attempts will not be eligible for a refund.
Additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.
Repeated refusal of cash-on-delivery orders may result in COD being disabled for future purchases.
13. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to deny any mandatory consumer remedy relating to genuinely defective, damaged, wrongly described or incorrectly supplied goods.
The Government of India recognises consumers’ right to seek redressal and fair settlement of genuine grievances. (Consumer Affairs)
